CW Cheat doesn't load up on 3.53M33-4.....help?

Here's what I've done so far:


I went back, installed EVERYTHING from the MS_ROOT folder(I misspelled it in my last post...the site wouldn't let me edit it for some odd reason), deleting the "3.60-" install.

1 - Enabled BOTH GAME and GAME150 cwcheat.prx's.

2 - Disabled GAME150's cwcheat.prx, and left GAME's.

3 - erased ALL CW Cheat prx's and re-intalled an older version

4 - Added cwcheat.prx to the VSH.txt

5 - pressed select more than once, held it each time for 3-6 secs.

6 - reviewed the cheats to check if they were the same with my gamesave IDs...they are. Used the CW Cheat Database editor from PSPhacks.com after trying to add/edit the codes myself.

My memory Sticks are all either SONY or SanDisk. This particular one is a SanDisk 4 GB.

try waiting a minute before trying to press select

just make sure that you're running M33 Driver Mode, not Sony NP9660 Mode if you're using Lexar memory stick

2 - I'm on a SanDisk, and yes, I'm on M33 Driver mode.

u sed u installed the code into VSH.txt... WRONG! u need put it in GAME.TXT ONLY!!!!

i think u shud delete the SEPLUGINS folder
copy all the files and folders from MS_ROOT (CWCHEAT APP) to the ROOT of your MS
goto recovery turn off GAME150 cwcheat.prx and pops unless u play PSX games?
then try playin it

also UPDATE to 3.71 M33 and M33-3 if still get problems!

I erased that. I only typed it into Game.txt, NOT vsh because...well....what's the point if the vsh doesn't do anything anyway.

I'll try that....again. I'll update ONLY if necessary, though. I'd like to work with what I have, especially since there's no way of downgrading from 3.71 M33.....that I know of anyway.

I used the one from the 360- folder and it works fine for me. I also use 3.52M33 -4. Whenever there is a new version I just paste it over the cwcheat.prx I already have in my ms0:/seplugins/ folder. I do that so I dont have to reconfigure my button so I can press the note button to bring up the menu instead of holding select. @goobers, the 360- folder has regular and lite builds, the lite one specifically says cwcheat-LITE.prx, The one labeled cwcheat.prx is the full build with cheat searcher and all included. As long as your memory stick isnt a cheapo you should be fine but you said it worked on 3.40 OE-C so you should be okay.

how can i find this ms_root folder... please help... i'm using scandisk memory stick... when i put my card into the card reader... i see a few folder... like mp_root,psp,video,pictures and stuff where can i find this folder?

maybe it's the main folder were you see "mp root psp video pictures and stuff"?
