custom firmware questions
New guy again...
1. When downloading custom firmware, under what folder in the PSP do you save it?
2. Does the cfw make permanent changes to the PSP or just to the memory stick?
3. Is it really worth it to make said changes?
Again, thanks in advance for any help. I really appreciate it.

Me again... In one of the CWCheat tutorials I came across, it said something about a recovery mode - Does this pretain to all PSP models or just the ones sporting custom firmware?

1. You don't save it on a specific folder....You need to know what is your FW (including fat or slim PSP) and do specific steps to install it to your PSP.
2. It changes the FW of your PSP to CFW, but not permanent, you can always reverse it back.
3. YES, because it is the only way for you to use homebrew plug-in and load game from your MS
Only CFW PSP have recovery mode.

I'm not entirely sure about your answer to the 1st question...if it helps, my PSP is operating with version 3.60, and it is the limited edition Star Wars Battlefront system. But I'll check on it...thanks for your help.

I've had the same PSP since mid '05, so I'm assuming that would make it a "fat" model?
...if so, is there anyway to get CFW on my PSP, also note, I have the highest OFW available in the U.S, and I am only looking for the CFW for cheat code purposes, not homebrew or emulation, if that makes it any easier for me obtain, any info would be greatly appreciated, btw, I'm such a noob at the PSP hacking thing... sorry...
thanks in advance
