I'm not sure if this post is related to CWcheat or not so please bear with me.
I'm having a little problem with my equipment - every time I try to change what the avatar is wearing, the game crashes halfway through the change. I'm not sure if this is due to a cheat or what, so if anyone has the same problem or has a way to fix it pls help.

Edit: The reason appears to be that the speed run cheat, possibly combined with another cheat (unlikely) permenantly breaks the save file. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's hard to say without more details.
It's possible that this behaviour is caused by CWCheat usage.
Maybe you should name the cheats you have used so far.
Oh and of course try turning cheats off first!
And maybe start a new game and check if it works at all

Ye... Well the conclusion took me a couple of hours to reach (I was checking before the original post). During this time I created 4 new games and restarted the psp around 17 times and this code seems to be the only one to set off the odd behaviour which continues when cheats are turned off (yes that was the first thing I checked). There's probably some way to remedy this with the memory editor but it's too early to get my brain in gear atm. I'll do a more in-depth review after I get some sleep.

this is a good cheat i found can someone convert it the post where i got the cheat said this
(Edit: For some reason Event quests and Challenge quests don't work after downloading them causing the game to say that there are no Event quests or crash until an US Event quest is downloaded again. Bonus content however works without problem)

At first I thought it would just be a text list.
But the second range is just really really offensive
Maybe it's supposed to be a blacklist.

Obviously a 'banned words' list from the game. I assume there's built-in censoring of text? This is how they know what to censor :D

This is a more precise report on the crashes.
-A female character was created.
-The only cheat activated was the special attack cheat.
-The character ran around the village for a few seconds.
-The cheat was disabled.
-The character bought an item of clothing from the cat (after talking to village elder for money)
-The character agreed to 'equip the clothing now'.
-The clothing changed, the buy menu reappeared, the music continued but the buttons were frozen.

Some information may be superfluous but this describes the entire situation.
Note: This is a completely different effect to what I somehow achieved previously, as at that point the clothing was removed and the game froze whilst replacing it with new clothing.

I tested it and it worked fine.
Maybe the change I made to Jipo's code wasn't good after all.
Try his original (click on found by Jipo next to it)
I'll test it again later.

I'm going to check and see if I can reproduce it.

I'll also try to find out if it is possible to reverse the behaviour again.

It's actually useless to put such a list there.
It only makes things easier for anyone who would like to uncensor the game. Oh well.
(I still believe it is in fact the namelist of all $ony CEO's)
