i was wondering if is a limit on how much cheats show on the screen? most of the games i play stop the cheats in the first letter being [M] area

Dunno what you mean... if you mean how many cheats can be in the db for a specific game, then that's (effectively) unlimited.
If you mean how many lines can each individual cheat have, then that limit is hardcoded, and I believe it's mentioned in the readme or docs somehwere.
If you mean how many characters long can the description of a cheat be, then that too is hardcoded. I want to say it's around 30-ish characters or so.

yeah.. i mean how much cheats there are listed in a specific game. i play games where they have lots of cheats but it starts with the letter "A" like All Items, but ends at like "M" Max HP and theres like 50 codes for max HP

Because people submit the same codes over and over, and we can't really check every code to see if: A) It works, and B) it's not a duplicate.

Then, if nobody reports it as a bad or dupe cheat, it stays.

Why don't you just remove the offending cheats by pressing R-Trigger+Triangle at the cheat list, when your cursor is at the cheat you want to remove? Use selct afterwards to save the changes.

And I don't believe there's a limit as to how many cheats a game can have in the db.
