get the latest version you can load saves from epsxe memory cards. but it's not only entering the police station the problem chaging floors on it also makes it crash (going floor 1 to 2 and floor 2 to 1) i've tried the stair near the place were you make photos and the fire emergency shorthcut the same. maybe re2 crashes every time you change the current map if it's so it's pratically unplayable because you can't go back and forth from the pc
