the problem lies in your memory stick+firmware bad iteration... in 3.40 the only viable way was getting a good memory stick or flashing the prx. another solution is updating to an m33 firmware and using m33 no umd modes (umd and other iso modes won't work) or going up to 3.90m33-2 which is the first firmware which waits for slow memory sticks to be mounted before skipping plugins
