Never happen. Stopping people from doing something only motivates more people to do it even more. There's no way it can be setup so that it's "impossible" to reverse-engineer. Someone, somewhere will ALWAYS find a way eventually.

Look at a giant company like Sony and the millions of dollars, (not to mention time and effort) they have spent trying to make it so that homebrew/ISO's can't be played on the PSP... how long did that last? What are we all doing now DESPITE thier efforts.

There's no such thing as "uncrackable". Someone will do it, if for no other reason than to be able to say they did it. It's just a matter of time.
People WILL use this (or other tools like it - I'm aware of at least one already) to cheat online. That's the simple fact of it.

Making it so the cheats won't enable when the wlan switch is on is a good idea unto itself, but if they didn't bother and just let people cheat as they wanted to, there'd probably be LESS people doing it because now that people know they can't do it (yet) they want to even more...

Sad, but it's true. It's better to embrace the things you cannot change, and this is one of them.

PS, I've never actually conncted to another player. Ever! If fact I only fired up my browser once in the history of having the PSP, just to check it out. I'm probably missing out on a lot of fun, but frankly I prefer to play alone.
As far as I know, most homebrew is legal, or sony would move in and demand a cease and disist of all homebrew under copyright. You can find ISO's and ISO loaders on few sites. PSPupdates wont host them and if they dont you got to know it is illegal. True, nothing is impossible with software, there will always be work arounds and other things. Sony may not be able to make an uncrackable firmware but they will keep on patching and make it harder and harder to find exploits so it takes longer to find exploits each time. The only way to make it easier to find exploits each time is to be a step ahead of sony with more information and experiance about the firmware. And since sony knows everything there is to know about the PSP. They have the signed eboots. So they will always be a step ahead with a patch, unless an employe that knows everything to know about every known file of the PSP's software we will always be a step behind. Anyway my point is CWcheat is under a copyright and it states in the readme this:
