Tecnologia italiana nel controller del wii!!!
Ebbene sì è proprio una azienda italiana ossia la St Microelectronics ad aver fornito la teconologia base per il controller del wii. Nel 2005 dopo aver presentato i sensori di movimento con tecnologia Mems a nintendo è iniziata una stretta collaborazione tra le 2 aziende.
L'accelerometro del wii viene costruito ed assemblato ad Agrate (MI).
Nintendo ha optato per l'azienda italiana perchè ha creato una tecnologia di ridotte dimensioni precisa nel rilevare movimenti sui 3 assi e soprattutto economica da produrre.
