Some major news has been released. The Nintendo Wii does indeed run homebrew via the SD Load and the Action Replay method. You can check out a cool video here. The video released shows SoftDev's SNES9X being loaded and then following shows GCOS being run! This is excellent news for all of us.

If you're new to the entire homebrew scene make sure to check out my Mod That Cube -FAQ- for instructions on how to prepare and work the Action Replay SoftMod method which will allow you to boot the SD Load DOL (executable) file. No word yet if you can access the Wii hardware directly from the GameCube side of things, but I will ask SoftDev what the deal is when time permits.
