Adding cheats for games not listed in cheatpops.db

Hi,

i just wanted to ask how do i know what is the signature for each game? i know it is unique but i don't know how to find them... i've been able to add new cheats for existing games like FF7, but how do i put in cheats for a game not listed in cheatpops.db like FF8 and FF9?

it's on the top of cwcheat gui or in the system.cnf file of the cd

well just run the game and it will give u the id at the top
