Possible reason why select won't bring up the menu.
Weltall's README says the following:
Code:
3-open pops.txt with a text editor and add this line: ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx 2-go to seplugins folder and copy cwcheat.prx there 3-open game.txt with a text editor and add this line: ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx I hope this solves the problem for some of you~! That problem is more specific to certain games. I can tell you that I'm definitely no expert on the matter. That said, I would think that the issue relates not to CW, but to how the Custom Firmware was built. Just as some games won't let you bring up the CW menu, some won't let the actual cheats work even if you are able to activate them. Some games will just lock up altogether at any given time while trying to process CW. CW could be fixed, but in a way that Weltall would have to make a different CW for that specific game, and that would leave us with multiple CW's which just isn't worth the time & effort. I don't know, though. I didn't create CW, and I don't know how it was built, so Weltall might very well be able to fix it. At the moment, however, it seems far more easier (and likely) to wait for a CF version that is more compatible to future CW releases.
