Unfortunately the result is the same: pressing L+Select has no effect. I have tried the village quests and the guild ones (non-online). I have tried pressing L+Select before engaging the monster and after engaging the monster. I have tried R+Select between each attempt and just pressing L+Select many times.

The cheat appears to be copied in correctly.

Hi, I've been trying to get this code to work, but have failed twice (and as a noob: more than 2 hours). First i tried copy-pasting gangstamalu's on the CHEAT.DB file by editing it with notepad.
Then as that didn't look like the rest of the code (in the original each line ends with a little square - i guess another way of depicting "end of line").
I actually added such a symbol after each line of gangstamalu's code.
I noticed that the name of the cheat entry did not matter (I changed one of the ones i often use by adding a 2 and it still worked) so i named the entries:
C0 Monster HP [1/2] (L/R SELECT)
C0 Monster HP [2/2] (L/R SELECT)
respectively. Here's what the code looks like -attach-
(I know I'm being difficult but anyway...)
I was wondering if anyone would tell me what i'm doing wrong as i can't seem to be able to activate the cheat in-game: I haven't tried throwing a flashbomb (like zero did in his video btw) after pressing L+select... should I?

Sorry for double posting, but Weltall, the db-file in your posted CW cheat pack does not contain the HP hack at all (for mhf2 that is).
Have you gotten it to work? could you post the CHEAT.DB?

Can someone help me edit the db file to add in the Monster Health Cheat for MHF2 USA version and upload it? I don't know how to edit the db file. I already tried.
