I've tried the text viewer with screen shot compatibility on/off. I've also broken up the text file into 7 smaller files all less than 64 KB.
When I use the text viewer for longer than a few seconds, or open and close it a couple of times, it crashes the game. BTW I'm playing GTA:LCS, FW 3.71 M33-3, M33 driver - No UMD, Plain Modules in UMD/ISO: Enabled, and I think that's about it. Any thoughts or advice? you can't use the volatile area with gta:lcs use the compatibility mode enabled. and use little files. use also np9660 driver disable plain modules and don't use other prx, even more don't use irshell it takes too ram, if you want to have space. start with 10kb and go up

Thx. I made the changes {np9660 driver disable plain modules + 10kb files}, but the game still crashed. When you say the 'volatile' area in gta:lcs, what do you mean?
Is the memory that the text viewer occupies unstable? Or is it just unstable with GTA? BTW, I don't use any other plugins i.e. irshell. Would flashing CWCheat possibly help? |

you need to enable compatibility mode in the settings menu also.
volatile is a particular area of ram most probably used by the suspend functions but lately some games like gta vcs uses it for it's game data. no i don't think so |

Cool. It got a little better, but it still crashed. I have 'screenshot compatibility mode' set to on in the settings menu, but I'm not sure which 'compatibility mode' you're referring to here. Is this the GAME folder kernel from the recovery menu? i.e. 3.71 or 1.50? or have I just completely missed something? |

Thanks. the text reader seems to be working OK now, but I exited, and used the home return to exit the game, and it froze. I think I'm just having some bad luck.
Is there a limit to the number of files that can be in the text folder at once? |
