Want to install CWcheat, running 3.71 m33-4 on a slim

I followed the instructions from a FAQ on GameFAQs and tried a youtube vid as well. Neither worked for me. I dropped the seplugin folder into the correct place, but the plugins don't show up when I go into recovery. What do I do?

fyi - i tried a lot for start form 3.71 m33-1 until 3.71m33-4 at psp slip still not working. but for psp big version 3.71m33-4 and older version works fine. i very dissapointed

Mine fine with me. I having psp slim running at 3.71 m33-4.
try to redownload the file again and install again.

ok here what i have done:

1. Download the cwcheat version 0.2.0 (CWCHEATS, PSP, Cheat, Tips - 425 GAMES and 5724 CHEATS on DB)
2. Extract the file
3. Copy the file of seplugins in the folder MS_ROOT_371
4. Paste the seplugins in your memorycard. juz drop it. no need to go to any folder.
5. Off your psp by hold the power switch till it off.
6. On your psp while holding the R.
7. Now you are in the M33 Recovery.
8. Go to plugins and enable all

Thats it. Hope you understand the Text TuT. i could make a pic tut if you wanted.

Is there a way anyone can create a the job for all the other characters. This is because the European version can only master up to the 8th character. Is there a way to modify the codes to max all 24 characters that are allowable for the game?

I have the same setup, but I have activated the cwcheatlite.prx in the plugins (as with the cwcheatpopslite.prx etc etc) in the hold R while booting menu.

I start a game, hold select - nothing happens, nothing happens to any game be it a umd or a rip (iso, cso on the memorystick).

Tried absolutely everything - at wits end with it now - 3 hours trying to find help and get this working. I got the seplugins and everything in the right places, enabled the plugins in the boot menu when starting the psp and holding R.

Select button held down for any length reveals nothing.

you didn't enable the particular cheats or the main cheat enabler

To MrBeez: i had a similar issue but it only happened with UMDs, the holding select wouldn't do anything. I did as Weltall suggested and upgraded my cfw to 3.90 M33-2 w/3.71 MS drivers. Its working now for both UMD and ISO on the MS. Also i've been told that sometimes a slow/fake MS will cause the menu to not show.

ive tried everything this board says and the readmes in the download. i cant get it to work. holding r while powering up just brings me to the main psp screen. what am i doing wrong
