I have recently downloaded cwcheats and have activated it and checked the cheats so I know that the cheats for the game I am playing are in it but for some reason the menu for CWCheats won't open. Does anybody know why?

make sure u have the ms_root file in the right place, go over the read me again just to make sure, also a lil tip post your firmware version so we know what you have. Plus make sure you have custom firmware, as far as I know cw cheat only works on custom firmware.

I know that I have the ms_root in the right place because I have been through all this before with an older version but last time it worked on both ps1 and psp games. I am running 3.71 M33-4.

R-trigger start up your PSP and double check under plugins to make sure it's actually turned on. I'm using 3.71 M33-4 with CWcheat 0.2.0 and having no problems

My PSP: since Oct 2005; firmware: 3.71 M33-4; CWcheat 0.2.0 Memory sticks: Sony 8GB, Sony 4GB, Sony 4GB, Sony 32MB, Sandisk 512MB, Action Replay 64MB (Yeah, I was stupid enough to think I could cheat with it. What a piece of junk that was) There is an amazing amount of games that can fit in a 32MB memory stick all of which are SNES and GBA games in my case |

So seplugins is in the default folder, the thing is turned on and all... Try redownloading cwcheats. There's the chance that an error occurred during the download. Also, make sure the version you put on is coming from the MS_root_371 folder. Does it even show up under plugins when you do an R-trigger start up? Cause it takes 3 slow seconds of holding select to activate it during games, and sometimes seems lagged.
