I am writing a tutorial using images from my PC and from in-game. I thought it would be easier to follow if I screenshot the menu and highlighted the part of the menu that they should be changing.

If I sounded a bit unpleased, it was only because I'm getting tired
I thought as much. Why else would you want to have such a thing ^^

On a sidenote:
Taking the screenshot glitched me out of the cwcheat menu.
But randomly pressing buttons, sending the psp to sleep mode and
changing the screen eventually fixed things

Hi, I'm having a problem with getting cwcheat to work. I'm running 3.90 M33 firmware, and I followed the installation instructions. I've enabled cwcheat.prx and cwcheat.prx [POPS] and cwcheat.prx [GAME150]. But when I go in-game, holding select does nothing.

I'm sure this question has been asked multiple times, and I apologize if I irritate someone. But I'd really like to get this running. Thanks for any help.

My first tip would be to upgrade to the newest M33 Version.
5.00M33-6
I'm not sure if your version allready had online update capabilites.
So to be on the safe side do it manually!

After that try installing CWCheat again

I wanted to ask, when you update cwcheat?
I REALLY hope you could update the text reader!
This would be very very kind of you... I'm making text documents for games, but the text reader isnt very good....Points i need:
1. tab funktion
2. the "note" symbol after every paragraph >sucks<

I think im not the only one who would be very pleased about these things, and i really hope you could implement some of the things....

hi, I'm here to report some bugs, hope you can fix them in the next version (if you are actually working on it)...

1) When dumping ram a lot of times, sometimes cwcheat stop dumping new ones or deleting the old dumps... when you try, it just instantly appear the normal message "First dump done!!" if you go to usb mode, the dump is there even if you did pressed "delete the dump and search files"

2) Sometimes when searching unknown values it's a pain in the ass, example, if you do greater than before a lot of times, it just returns static addresses in the "showing last 10 found" this can be a hell annoying... if you add them to the list, and let's say reduce the values and freeze it and then try again "greater than" the fucking addresses continues on the list... oh man, i had a lot of trouble searching the time in syphon filter dark mirror and logan's shadow... lol after a million times searching, cwcheat removed the static addresses then i could continue searching. i didn't have this problem with less than if you ask.

3) not a bug actually, but there's a way to enable usb while using psplink? that would be wonderful.

and maybe you can improve the search speed as well, like searching for 0 takes forever and if in 8bit ohhh only god can save you ... well you got the message ... thanks in advance for you great work on this.

I can't wait until the next version comes out. Hopefully it can be made a little more user friendly and also have an updated cheat database with codes for most of the brand new PSP games that have just come out.

i have spent a large amount of time researching cwcheat. i have psp fat, 1001 running cf 5.00 m33-6 i can get the plugins to show up in recovery.

i have them enable, but when i press select for 3 seconds after loading any game i get nothing.

i have read that slower or fake ms may cause a problem with cwcheat. i have a 8gb sandisk card. could this be the problem. i have never had an issue before doing anything else with this. should i try to get the faster ms, or maybe enable the faster ms read option in the cxmb?

thanks or any assist on this. im dying to get some cheats into mh2. i have close to 600 hours in the game, and im just getting a little tired of farming the same monsters over and over for 1 stinking ruby, or plate.

and no im not some looser thats looking for the fast way to advance. hr6, beaten all quests, training missions etc, but i have a bad habit of have max everything in this game. i currently have 7 lao rubies, 34 wyvern stones etc etc. i want a compete inventory before i stop playing this game but i dont want one of those posted saves etc.

sorry for the long post, just wanted to give a little backstory so you guys can understand where im coming from.

ok, this is not posted anywhere and i felt that it needs to be put up somewhere for anyone on using a mac as that turned out to be my problem.

*cwcheat has to be unpacked using winrar on a PC ONLY. Can't be done using a mac*

for whatever reason these steps do not work at all if done using a mac. i have a macbook pro running leopard OS 10.5.8. i opened up a parallels install of win xp (from what i can tell any version of windows after xp can make this work), download the files from this website. made a back up of my sandisk 8gb ms, formated it using my psp. then moved over the seplugin folder. no editing files needed. reset psp, held down r, enabled the 2 plugins that i see and restarted psp. loaded monster hunter freedom 2, held select for 3-4 seconds and bam. instant cwcheat.

i did not have to buy another memory card, i did not have to edit files. just had to follow the super easy to follow steps on a PC. Thanks to everyone involed in making this awesome software. works like a charm on PC. maybe that can be added in the instructions. will help a ton of people that only have macs at home to not do things like try to instal it on there flash mem.
