I have custom firmware 2.71-m33;
I'm using a REAL Sony 4 gig memory stick Pro Duo; running ps1 eboot game Dragon Warrior 7; installed cwcheat (3.71 version) as readme described (it would of better help me initially if the instructions specified to hold BOTH power & "R" buttons until menu comes up) I enabled the 3 options cwcheat, cwcheat150, & cwcheatpops, then exited. Not getting any cwcheat menus before or in-game; what's going on here?!? What's the point of installing cwcheat if it doesn't work? (pressing select for 3 seconds gives nothing, nada) The YouTube vids; didn't show me anything I didn't already do. Ultima modifica di aldube : 21st January 2008 alle ore 21:12. |

The Memory Stick does say SONY Pro Duo on it, bought it back in Nov 2007; SONY could of changed the specs on their Memory Sticks in order to discourage Homebrew PSPs or simply got cheap. What is your suggestion here...? UPDATE: I tried using a 1 Gig SONY Memory Stick Pro Duo to see what happens, and still getting no cwcheat menu after ingame and holding select for greater than 4 seconds... (even tried pressing select 5 times then hold for down select for greater than 4 seconds...) Ultima modifica di aldube : 22nd January 2008 alle ore 15:51. |

SOLUTION:
Upon doing some WEB research: I found that 3.71-m33 support in CWCHEAT 2.1 is specific to 3.71-m33-3 ONLY! (using 3.71-m33/m33-2/m33-4 may cause problems for some reason; I'm using a PSP Slim) If you're having problems with the hold "R" & power button trick to get restore menu; then try removing PSP battery and put it back in after a few seconds. UPDATE: My Dragon Warrior VII uses a game ID of SLUSP01206 instead of SLUS-01206, so the cheatpops.db has to be edited accordingly for the cheats to show up. I have the same problem. I put the SE plugins folder onto my PSP and then I went into the recovery menu and put on cwcheat.prx, cwcheatpops and cwcheat150.prx and I dont know how to access CWcheat either in game or out of game. What am I supposed to do? Or am I supposed to put the entire MS root folder, not just the SE plugins, onto my PSP and then enable all 3 things? Also, what are the proper buttons to use to activate CWcheat? Can it only be activated in game, or can you activate it from the normal PSP menu?
