Pls help Im new to this

Got my psp for christmas

and i wanted to get cwcheats cuz heard its the best

I cant seem to get my psp to connect to my comp so i can add cw cheat files to my psp.

I connect the psp usb cord to my comp and it just wont come up on screen i cant find it!!! Pls help even tho this is nubish prob. id reallly appreciate.
