problem with remapsp in 3.80 m33-5

i successfully installed cwcheat in 3.80 m33-5, i can access it in-game with holding select.

i start my FF7 psx and load a save game, then i access the cwcheat menu.

I turn ON remapsp [Y] and also select a remap text file, for example backwards.txt from the list in the menu.

I press Circle to return to game and try the REMAPSP, the configuration should have reversed the controls (d-UP goes down, etc)
but theres no changes on the controls..

Did i miss anything on the steps to get Remapsp to work?

i also save my cwcheat configuration (CWCHEATPOPS.INI) and it showed the following:

my cwcheat version is 0.2.1

and btw, when i turn ON the Remapsp [Y] then press circle to return to game

then press HOME button to look at the PS emulator menu, controls stop working (d-up, d-down, square, circle, triangle etc.. dont work), cant move the selection up or down or select or cancel the emulator menu..

only way to get out of it was to enter the CWcheats menu (select button seems to work) then disable the remapsp [N], then when i check out the emulator menu again, controls seem to work fine.

I only tried in FF7 game

Is this a known bug?
