Try cmgsccc.com for cheats. Just remember the possibility of the game freezing from time to time. Star Ocean 2 was always buggy with cheats whenever I played it back on the PSX.

What a piece of junk that was) There is an amazing amount of games that can fit in a 32MB memory stick all of which are SNES and GBA games in my case |

the only cheat in the db that really crashes the game is the "all items" cheat.
other codes affect the game in odd ways. like the "Never goes down MP" only affects the currently controlled character but doesn't seem do anything strange to the game. while the "Never goes down SP" isn't exactly useful when you only have 5-10 SP. and it also causes graphical glitches. as for cmgsccc.com... they're not letting me register (guessing because it's a hotmail account)... i don't really care much for sites that do that nowadays. years ago, it would make sense since people are more likely to have some company/isp email account. |

I never recalled needing an account to get cheats from their site, but in such an event, you could always go to gameshark's site and they should have plenty of codes there. Honestly if you want, try a quick level up code, save, then turn on the Sp never goes down code. Turn off the SP code as necessary and I'm sure it'll be fine. But just in case, create more than one save. Also for all Items, if you can't get everything, just select the items you want individually and they should work perfectly fine.

Here were the instructions I got on the All Items codes:
With this code, the game is funky with its memory, so here's what you do. Start the Cheat Device with just this code and the enable code. I had the problem with not being able to load the game with too many codes on, so turn off the codes when the title screen comes up. Load your saved game and turn the codes back on. Save your game immediately. Then reset the PSX and turn back on any other codes you want. You should have 1023 items in your inventory Incase you wanted to try a few of the codes I've found: Enable Code (Must Be On): C1000000 0000 D0061CA4 0010 80061CAC 0004 D0061CA4 0010 80061CAE AC62 D0061CA4 0010 80061CB0 0001 D0061CA4 0010 80061CB2 2442 D0061CA4 0010 80061CB4 000C D0061CA4 0010 80061CB6 AC62 D0061CA4 0010 80061CB8 0001 D0061CA4 0010 80061CBA 2442 D0061CA4 0010 80061CBC 0008 D0061CA4 0010 80061CBE AC62 D0061CA4 0010 80061CC0 0009 D0061CA4 0010 80061CC2 1000 D0061CA4 0010 80061CC4 0010 D0061CA4 0010 80061CC6 AC60 Infinite MP (All positions in battle only): 8003737A 2400 Infinite SP Usage: 8007EA96 2400 Have all Items (directions at the top of this post): 5000FF02 0001 8009ACD0 5001 5000FF02 0001 8009AECE 5100 5000FF02 0001 8009B0CC 51FF 5000FF02 0001 8009B2CA 52FE 50000302 0001 8009B4C8 53FD Position 1 MAX SP: 8009B922 03E7 Position 2 MAX SP: 8009B9F2 03E7 Position 3 MAX SP: 8009BAC2 03E7 Position 4 MAX SP: 8009BB92 03E7 65535 EXP Per battle: D0086510 1021 8008650C FFFF D0086510 1021 8008650E 3404
