I found out that the japanese codes worked, you just have to change the game id (already changed below). Also found out that you don't want to select the [Magic] tab in the [Menu] when you have the cheats on, it will freeze then game. Also, don't run too many codes at once, it will freeze too.

For anyone who uses the codes, the item code will erase what you have in your inventory, including the *SPECIAL* items so becareful...
