Getting CWcheat to work on a V3.90 PSP fat.

I've been at this for a couple days now, and here's as far as I've gotten.

On my PSP, I have A folder named PSP, which has MUSIC/PHOTO/VIDEO/SAVEDATA/GAME, and a folder that says seplugins, Which I dragged in per instruction manuals.

When I try to enter recovery mode I only get the main screen again. People say I need some kind of Customfirmware, and I've downloaded things that say firmware, but I don't know how to load them. Can someone tell me what firmware I'm missing and where to get it so I can finally get this thing to work. Also, how to run it.

I really dont understand whats so hard about When peopel say, you need Firmware 3.71 M33 or whatever.. You need to Hack your psp. Thats the only thing you need to do, but since you're in 3.90 REgular PSP Sony Firmware, you need to have somene who has a already hacked psp and help you to hack yours.
