Question about modifying codes

I know that your not supposed to post codes from other sites, but can we post codes modified from other people's?

I'm only asking because I've found a few codes are only off by some digits (like in Dynasty Warriors vol. 2, where one code froze the game until I changed a few digits), and also can remove unwanted effects by removing certain lines (like getting rid of the permanent HP/MP/AP stats in FF:CC by removing some lines).

i guess its ok to post the codes that you modified, you said before it was modified it freezes the game right? weltall said, as long as it helps others why not post it? good job on fixing the code!
