well as a workaround you can press O at the network connection dialog it should connect manually. it seems it's never leaving the loop which checks the network dialog.. :S i don't think changing kernel would change anything in a slim

i pressed O and it worked but it does this
connection state 0 of 4
connection state 2 of 4
connection state 3 of 4 hangs here doesnt do any thing else
then it just hangs am I supposed to do some thing or is it done there and I exit?
no other options appear!

the test still hung at the same place untill I pressed O then it hung at the next place um
