Yeah it works just fine. Just add the line "ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx" to your game150.txt file in your seplugins folder and your good to go. Since you can have up to 255 DBs I use a different database for each super nintendo game so I can keep my cheats seperate and have the game title displayed instead of the generic "HOMEBREW" game title. You dont have to do it that way but I would recommend it.

you can only find new codes from scratch converting the original ones would be more complex. plus consider snes9xtyl has an integrated cheat engine which is a better idea

The process is exactly the same. I make codes for SNES and other games the same way I hack em for psp except with SNES none of the games use DMA (not surprising but cool since you dont have to re-hack anything ever). If you can hack codes for psp you can hack em for the emulators too, just know that a lot of the time with a fixed value search you should search using hex format not decimal.

keep in mind that updating the emulator can make cheats invalid

ICONA NEWS PSP

I have a similar question:
I succeded in writing down some gameshark codes in cwcheat database, for super mario world (Snes9xTYL) and Final Fantasy VI Advance (Gpsp). I can see them, activate them, but they don't work.
I think I'm using the right format: _S, _G, _C0, _L, and the XXXX-XXXX format, but nothing. But now I'm reading about converting them, and I'm not so good with this kind of stuff
Could someone explain to me? Thanks a lot

You cant use gameshark codes with cwcheat they are not the same thing. Find your codes (cwcheat) by doing searches just like you would in psp or psx games. The XXXX-XXXX format is gameshark or game genie format for snes games, you could use those but they need to be entered into the snes emu's cheat menu and not in cwcheat.

Got it, but I can't find anywhere cwcheat codes for psp emulators. Could you tell me where you find yours? Or is there a program, or a tutorial, to convert the gameshark action replay etc. codes into cwcheat ones?
