cwcheat requires custom firmware... so how do I get that onto my PSP?

Google says there are a lot of ways to do this, but I worry that much of the information seems to be outdated... most of what I've seen predates the PSP Slim...

So... does anyone here have experience putting custom firmware onto a PSP Slim? What's the simplest way to do it?

well I bought a silver slim when they 1st came out and was thinking of modding it for a while finally decided to do it 1st and foremost its not that hard the only part that is hard was making the pandora battery after that its a breeze there 2 ways of making the battery 1 is the hard mod where you crack the battery open and sever a conductive ink connection or 2 send you battery to some one who can change the battery into pandora with out opening it because they have cfw so it how you decide to do it and just to nights ago I talked some one threw the whole process to do it to there slim and I modded about 2 phats and 1 other slim for friends who live around me!

Ok, I was wondering if a pandora battery was key, and apparently it is...

I found a couple websites selling PSP Slim pandoras... I'll probably go that route since I'd probably screw it up on my own...

find a friend who has a cfw and tell them to make you a pandora battery its not that hard and then get despertar del cementerio v5 from dark_alex website google it and its easy after that get a spare ms and a battery and u have that for ur own so that when your psp bricks you can just revive it with the pandora battery and the despertar del cementerio ms
