Real Time Saves / Save States?

I'm curious about something...

Nobody has come up with a PSP save state recording app, and I wondered why.

What big hurdles prevent the development of save states for the PSP? I've seen you can dump the main 32 bit RAM. Can you dump the DRAM as well? Are there many write-only registers that make recording the system state difficult?

1) we have not enough knownledge to save and restore a psp status
2) how are you gonna restore the status of app restoring data?
3) restoring vram/ram isn't enough... registers... they are used also by the application copying data back

i've tried it in the past it's extremely unstable...
