Are codes different for EU & US versions of the same game

i found codes for the game 'Coded Arms: Contagion' but its for the us versioni think (ULUS means american yes ?) .I have euro (ULES) & i put the codes in the database but it doesnt work...

Is it because i have ULES version of the game and codes are for ULUS ?

i just want to know if the problem is with the codes or the codes are right but it won't work because its a different version of the game ...anyone ?
