Problem was (and yes was) That the condition was never met.
By coincidence I figured out that pushing the L Button triggers the condition.
Which is confusing but whatever.

No it means you first need to find out which part of the cheat is the adress and then try the conversion.
Since I've allready linked to the Code Types way to often. Let's quote myself this time around.

Look at the discriptions and you should understand which part must be converted.

But

The adress in your cheat seems to be pretty low!
That means that there is a high probability that the difference you are subtracting might not be correct.
And if this code is not even for MHFU the difference of -0140 is most likely wrong.

- In that case choose an easy to find cheat from the same adress range
- and find it in the other Version via cheat searcher!
- Next subtract those adresses to get the correct difference for that adress range.
- And finaly convert the cheat you wanted and test it before posting it.

just a quick suggestion for ppl trying or want the sharpness max to work without the annoying msg every time. idk if this would work but couldnt u take the code and edit it so the sharpness is like 1 lower then max sharpness so it wouldnt be maxed but u wouldnt get the msg and no worrying about sharpening it.

you must activate this code first then go into cwcheats de-activate all of them (i.e change to [N] ) then activate all 12 of the below codes and it should work, remember to press L+select to activate R+select to de-activate.

This works for Monster hunter portable 2nd g, lucami can u convert it so it works on monster hunter freedom unite you will need to convert the above code as well.

P.S the reason your code didnt work was coz it was missing sum 0's on the first and eleventh code thanx in advance for converting and posting the Europe version (ULES-01213) of the code.

I was looking at the All Items in Box code and noticed it's in two parts (original jap version). The first code seems to be the populating code and the second seems to be the number of items in each slot.

This way you don't have to have all items code mess up your inventory. There are 19 dummy slots in the All Items code as well. Probably why the new monsters stuff isn't in there. You'd have to stop the code before each dummy and then continue after, so the code would have to be a lot more than 2 lines to get every item, or at least most of them. Most of the dummies were in the tickets line of code. 12 of them i think. Anyway, there's my contribution even if it is just a rip from the Jap code.

the issue with the defense code other than using the drug code, i think, is that you're trying to modify the base number. the base number is always going to be 1, that's your character with nothing to add to defense. searching for 1 continuously will drive you insane most likely. the address you kept finding in 8 and 16 bit searches was just the value representation on the screen. kind of like when the one person thought they had the hp cheat but they just had the graphics frozen while they were still getting stomped. if you want a true defense cheat, you'll have to find the stat base address. the problem with attack though is that there isn't a base that i could think of since you cannot go around without one. base equals zero so they probably didn't even think of having the actual code there. they aim it at whatever weapon plus any buffs from jewels and armor. if they do have a base address for attack, it'll be searching for 0. i kind of wish this game were a little more like diablo 2....just rip the files out, and create your own way to go.
