[Help] Multi-Line codes Ingame

Ok heres the situation.

I'm at work(ya life sucks), but behold I have access to a pc and a psp(lifes a little better). Being that I'm at work the pc has fairly limited access. I can access most sites but the usb port doesn't function. So basically what I have on my psp when I get to work is all I have for 8hr.

Problem then lies on when I find a cool site with some cwcheats to a game where I didn't see it when I was at home. So now I have to get this cheat into the database using only my psp.

I searched abit on the forums and found that you can edit the cheats via cwcheat menu, but the problem comes when I have to add multiple line cheats. When I access the cheat selection option and press square I can edit 1 line of hex... how do I put mulitiple lines of hex in the same "NEW CHEAT"?

The only solution I have found so far is pspwrite(a text editor for the psp) but it's sort of a hassle to have to back out of the game, enter a txt editor and then reload the game. Oh if only cwcheat worked with irshell LOL.

In any case let me know if theres a way to make multiple line cheats using only the ingame cwcheat menu... thanks.

In the CWCheat CheatEditor you can press
Start to add a line or Select to delete a line!
That should help you enter multi line cheats.

Good luck entering the hUgE Cheats, like MHFU HPD, that way

Indeed, it can be a pain. But if that's all you have...

Pretty sure this info is in the docs somewhere, that's where I learned of it

You actually read the readme.txt?
Ah well, as we all know most people don't care that the dev of a project
in most cases spends days writing these darn things to help the people
who use his stuff understand all the function, features and probably bugs.

It would be almost funny... if it wasn't so sad!
They don't read it but post a question. Sometimes waiting days for an answer...
It's this "I don't want to understand it, just tell me what I have to do"
mentality that makes the world the place it is today.
(Let's keep it at that, since this is not the platform for such a discussion)

Aaaaand
Back to Topic:
If the Original poster ever decides to show up again:

I think there was a way to hook up an external mini keyboard via IR
This paired with a psp text editor that can open the db file would be
the most comfortable workaround for your situation.

Thanks for the response. I looked the the docs but alas I must have missed it. Searched google and these forums for a couple of hours too but couldn't find any post relating to it so I conceded to ask the question or just stick with pspwrite.

I knew it had to be something simple I was missing somewhere. I never considered looking into a keyboard for the psp, although that may be a pretty solid option as well. I have a psp3000 though so no iR that I'm aware of . But one of my reqs for my major was a basic electronics class so I'll look into that. Thanks for the idea.

Well yeah!?!? What if the readme stated that if you didn't run a particular command line switch, the software would kill your whole family, for example?

You'd have nobody to complain to, would you?

And yeah, the 'instant gratification always' mentality really gets on my tits sometimes... like we need more request threads. Is basic code finding that hard?

Grumble, grumble...
