[Help] In-game menu doesn't recognize game

DELETE THIS POST! WITH A LITTLE BIT OF INVESTIGATION I FIGURED IT OUT!

When i start my game, so far the ones it has done this on is Phantasy Star Portable and Star Ocean First Departure, i go into the cheat menu, up at the top where it should say

GAME: Star Ocean First Departure ID: ULUS-10374

it only says the ID. for game it is blank. and when i go into 'Select Cheats' there is nothing, but when i look in the cheat database (cheat.db) the game is there with the cheats.

Why doesn't my cwcheat recognize these games...

again so far is only been on Phantasy Star Portable and Star Ocean: First Departure
