I agree with what you've said. Of course the modchip is what really brings an end to the battle of the firmware, because there's NOTHING they can do to prevent the modchip allowing you to just run every new firmware they release and paying your ISO's anyway.
Of course I understand that the program is under copyright, but let's face it, you don't really think that'll actually STOP anyone from modifying it anyway. I mean, someone could hack it, do a compare and make a patch to let anyone modify their copy, then release it on the torrent sites. In a few hours it'll be everywhere and there's no way you can stop it. Copyright is a valid concept and I understand the need for it. I just don't believe it's something that can be enforced on the internet... -snake Of course, none of this detracts from the fact that this is still may all-time favorite piece of software on my PSP! ![]() |

weltall - if people use the program to do no good, that's not your fault or your problem. You have a BRILLIANT tool here and I hope you will continue to develop it.
Nobody can blame YOU if people cheat online, it's their choice. Just like someone can't be angry at the people who make guns if someone gets shot with one. You can't be held responsible for the actions of others beyond your control. I salute you for bringing a great tool to the homebrew scene. I can't wait for the next version already ![]() -snake |
