actually... i dont think you have to subtract anything from ur code. when i find a code using the "search for value," it will give you the stuff to paste right into the cheat.db. when i convert the decimal value that is in the TXT to hex, it is exactly the same value. therefore, i do not believe you need to subtract it from 0x08800000.

A question: I have 9 memory dumps to find an unlimited ammo code for socom. i have dumps for when i have 30 rounds - 22 rounds. i do a 8-bit known value search on a few of them using the number of rounds i had when i made each dump, and i get it down to 1 address. even when i search with the rest of the dumps, this address stays, which tells me this is definitely the address for the ammo. i get the database entry from the program and set the value to 0x0000001E (30 rounds). However, when the code is on it will still allow my ammo to lower. Since I am sure the address is right, why is my ammo still able to lower? is it the same reason why Gir's coded arms code didnt work?

Oh ok, well my codes would freeze but I figured out how to get it to work, I just pressed the end search and it produced the right adresses for me. Anyway, I noticed in girs ammo codes that he had the new value as 999 instead of the weapons ammo limit, so I'm guessing putting a value higher then the ammo could go made it infinite.

I cant make a 99999 value in HEX... i try and i only get 65535 max

Any help?

I try this:
0x10FFFFFF and only get 65535
0x0098967F and only get 65535...

is to hard to make a BIN -> HEX -> Cheat Value program?.... grrrrrrrr

... please help me!

65535 is the maxium value for a 16-bit code.
Set the first number after 0x to a 2, instead of a 1.

0x20FFFFFF and only get 65535 in game... and i see greatest values in this game... is DBZShin Budokai (EUR)

i dont think u can.... and that database should be moderated. When i downloaded it a few minutes ago there was just jibberish inserted in there with codes that arent even hex values.

Agreed, it should be tied to your login to upload codes for security... also everyone could get thier due credit.

Yes my friend... and create a FakeCodes can frezze the game... for example:

I set it to 999, because orignally I set it to 255, which wasn't even close to some of the gun's ammo maximum.

So, I just set it to 999.

BTW: Where the fuck is Wetall? He stopped posting for over 24-hours.
