I agree, you should use a pc for psp programming... and if you dont want to install linux you can either use a live cd or just use cygwin. I never tried ps2 linux but i would assume it is a lot harder to do things on than a pc.

It's probably some horrible RedHat compile. Nothing special.

But, assuming the PS2 as very low ram, very low CPU power, and almost little~none space on that 160 GB HDD, I assume you could probably program Notepad, if you skim it a little. It might take 5 days to compile, though.

Thats what I've been trying to explain, everybody has a life so you cant expect them to be doing the same thing all the time. And Gir is talking about Coded Arms, the game hes making codes for. Hes having trouble making a health code though he has the right address. I think some adresses just cant be changed though. Like the codes I'm making for blade dancer. I found specific addresses for certain items but the values of the items just flash and change back to the real address and they look like they are trying to change but they dont permanetly. So I had to substitute item slot codes to higher item quantities instead of for specific items. Is it that some adresses just cant be changed on PSP games?

OK, first off: Where the fuck did you learn English? I've seen people from Italy and Germany that speak perfect English, but you fail.
Second, you should always bring a laptop with you, espically if you're working on a project. You seemed to be able to bring your PS2 with you.
And third, you need to chill out. Learn some sarcasim.

Go Jungletek! Set his ass straight! Weltall has brought this great app to the psp and gir is criticising him. I'd like to see gir make an usefull app like that and if he cant, he needs to stop disrespecting him.

that's a 8bit costant write not a 8bit increment as you said all over the forum.
then if the problem is that the life bar goes down then goes up that's probably a patch delay problem which will be fixed for the next version
but if the problem is that the bar goes up and then down: it's a code problem. maybe the game stores it differently and you just found the values used to draw the screen but not the current values

Well, you stupid shit, in America, we don't have to learn your shitty language. Nobody in America, that matters, speaks Italian. They all speak English, or Spanish. So go fuck yourself. I know German, English, Spanish, Latin, and some Japanese; sit down, waschlappen.

Second, if you don't release the source code, you at least have to maintain it. You can't be a lazy fuck about it. Release a 0.1.1 fix, and then just ignore all the fucking bugs that people have been ranting about.

At least I make my projects OpenSource, what little projects I've done, and when I find bugs, I fix them immediately, not a fucking week later. I've also done some coding while on "vacation", because I have a fucking laptop, and I'm loyal to a project.

I didn't, that's the point: he did. If he's going to make a "useful" app, and not release the sourcecode, he at least needs to maintain it! Not fucking telling us what he's "going" to do, and actually fucking doing it! You can't make something with so much potential and leave it with a bunch of personal programming mistakes and flaws! You need to fix them.
