I've been having that problem with the Coded Arms' skill system.

I can't change the level, or the damage factor.

If cwcheat did the cheat finding "live" in-game, rather than doing dumps, and had a built-in debugger, this is where you'd set a breakpoint and trace the money increment/decrement routine.

But it's not that advanced (yet? ) , and truth be told, I'm a bit stumped. Sometimes when I do my first pass, searching for unknown value, I get no results. If I search for the specific value, I get a small number of results, but then nothing on the second pass. It seems unlikely that the money address is 23 different memory locations. So this one's got me puzzled.

The only thing I can think of is that the value that represents say, 38000, is being stored in some other format... not necessarily hex or dec. Or that the on-screen text, and the actual value you really want are two different things...

It's funny... MGA2 was much easier, although I was having a bit of trouble finding the in-game 'cost' values and such to poke. Dunno if it's due to bugs, or what. Time will tell, I suppose...

Yea, it would be nice to have a cheat finder live within a game, a debugger would also be really nice. Of course, CW Cheat is still early in develoupment so we might get those things later on. But I'm glad some people in the homebrew community started this project since apparently Action Replay, Codebreaker, and Gameshark, have apparently thought nothing of the PSP.

They've seemed to stop cracking the memory for a console, since the XBOX came out.

I think the only other cheat device made, was for the game cube.

I'm quite glad too, it's a great program already, with lots of potential. I can't wait to see how it evolves.

Anybody working on codes for X-men Legends 2? I'm having a hard time with the danger room missions, and a stop timer code would be really helpfull.

Unfortunatly, I have no knowledge of how to search for codes myself, so I'm pretty dependant on others work.

Thanks.

I'm doing some right now... haven't done the danger room yet, just skill and stat point cheats for now.

I'm at 'sanctuary' now though, so I'll try to do the timer for you...
