Major Issue/Bug!

I've narrowed it down to the cwcheat.prx, as the game in question (Metal Gear Acid 2) will load fine without the cwcheat.prx line in the btncnf. However, if I add the line back, the game get's to the "loading from mem card" screen (always the first thing u see when the game loads), then just freezes the PSP and shuts off.

The strange thing is, it worked fine before a few hours ago...

I replaced the 2.6 firmware, as I thought it had gotten corrupted, and it made no difference.

I might roll back to cwcheat 0.1.1 and see if that works...

This is quite upsetting, to say the least... but if the previous version works, I can live with that for a while. I'll just be sad to not have the in-game cheat finder

I'd be happy to provide any info/files you need to track down the problem weltall.

Bizarre shit...

I rolled back to 0.1.1, and I can play and hack MGA2 fine, just like before.

But if I have cwcheat (0.1.1 OR 0.1.2) loaded while I play GTA:LCS, it will crash 95% of the time when trying to load Edison Carter's Cheat Device save file. The other 5% it will load the file, but the cheat device won't be enabled.

Strangely enough, the cwcheat and cheat device would co-exist fine with each other (0.1.1) in the past, only since upgrading to 0.1.2 does it start to act up. And as I said, if I roll back to 0.1.1, I get some strange behavior that didn't exist before.

I use the manual install for cwcheat, always.

Does the new version of cwcheat make any modifications to some files or something? It's quite a curious conundrum

It works for GTA.

It's games that use 1.XX. They seem to not like CheatDevice. :o

anyway for the next version i've made the cheat applying function less aggressive maybe now these will work fine.
