Might I suggest a public approval system? When a code is submitted instead of being added directly to the database, it should go to a 'Pending Codes' page of some sort. This page should list the codes and the game they're for. This way people who have the game can test the codes. They can then report whether it's working or not. I would recomend having 2-5 reports either way. That should keep abuse down. Either way it should be better than what you have.
And remove the Star Wars code.

While I'd love to have a sort of system in place for people to vote on the working status of codes, I'd be happier if people submitting codes had half a clue as to what the hell they're doing. We get dupes and wrongly formatted codes quite a bit. Not to mention people submitting codes that don't work for others because of dynamic memory adresses, that they blatantly haven't tested.
So for the moment, we have to rely on users reporting bad or non-working codes. That's what the thread is for, use it. Kthxbye.
