how can you search for a - neg number?

can anyone help me on this? i need to know how to find a negative number for a fix search. In everyone golf i wantt o search a neg number to increase your rank like -40 or something like that.

down didn't work for me, i had to press the left bumper button on top then go down from there. Now my next problem is i think the game everyone golf is DMA's in there lv status and rank lvl so my hack didn't stay after each match. ohh well have to try something else.
