i can't reproduce this "appearing from nothing remapsp" you surely have some problem with cwcheat configuration or some hacky prx is writing in cwcheat ram.
can you post me your configuration file (with remapsp enabling by itself)

this usally happenes with umds so i can't really save settimgs there b/c the game won't load so i loaded a backed up cso to load the setting. the umd that won't load is socom

i can't see any problem in the source and in the config.
but you could try this as at least a work around. get from the rar the DEFAULT.txt from the remaps and put it somewere then input it's position in REMAP DFILE = (use a unix compatible editor) and save now it should work also if enabled

gangastamalu i've found the problem
 it seems that there is a buffer overflow vulnerability in cwcheat <= 0.1.5 in the db reading runtime which could make the prx go crazy (for example enabling automatically remapsp). The current solution is checking that the game name has a maximum of 30 chars if not remove the chars after the 30th one: this will resolve the problem till the next version of cwcheat your game is socom and in the db there is a string of 40 chars as it's name (Socom Us Navy Seals Fire Team Bravo [US]) so this buffer overflow is exploited and the result is what you are experiencing

Weltall, now that I pop in once in a blue moon, may I make a suggestion? Can you put in support for the new 2.71 SE-B custom firmware? It would be greatly appriciated because the direct loading of ISOs from the game menu is much less consuming then going through devhook. It also seems a bit smoother then emulateing from devhook. Do you think it would be possible?

no it isn't possible you should ask dark alex to add support to prx loading not me sorry
 then it will require a double version with devhook functions stripped and manual install (it's better manual because of the danger of damaging those files)

then would it be possible to load it on gpSP? evey 1 is waiting for a cheat type thing for that.
