Thank for so much for the Devhook 3.01 fix Weltall, but sadly I am having another problem.

I installed the cwcheat installer on my memory stick, and when I run the installer I get the following error.

"Unable to open pspbtcnf_game.txt"

I tried to do a manual install, but when I open pspbtcnf_game.txt in wordpad, it is unreadable. I would try another program to read the file, but I have no clue what I should be looking for.

Any ideas on how to get the installer to work? Or do you know another program to edit the file with (I'm running Windows XP)?

If you can help great, if not, o well. Either way thanks for cwcheat, its a great program.

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and I used to use CW Cheat on Devhook 0.46. Then i formated my memory stick and I have devhook 0.51 and downloaded the CW Cheat that goes along with devhook 0.51, and i extract all the files to my desktop (it gives me a FW.150 folder) In that folder it has PSP and dh folders. I copy paste those to the root of my memory stick. I go to run the CW Installer and try to install for 3.02 FW and i get a message

"Unable to open psptcnf_game.txt...

Press X to return"

I've tried so many things i've added that file to the root of my ms to every folder on my ms and it still can't open it. Could someone please help me?

maybe write up a quick step by step on what I need to do starting from the beginning on getting CW Cheat to work?

you can't use the installer simple it's a manual mod as explained in the readme just copy the pspbtcnf_game_dh.txt from the zip

same as above read the included manual and download the db from the site and copy it to the dh folder

i did exactly what you said. still didnt work.
first, i copied the prx from "/dh/05/kd/" to "/dh/302/f0/kd/",
then, copy the "pspbtcnf_game_dh.txt" and "cwcheat.prx" included in the zip to "/dh/302/f0/kd/"

i did everything in the README, i still got the "Unable to open pspbtcnf_game.txt" problem.


oh man, i dont understand where i did wrong.
can some kind hearted ppl zip their "/dh/302/f0/kd/" folder and email it to me?
will it work?

you don't have to use the installer AT ALL!!
and copy the files to /dh/05/kd/ not /dh/302/f0/kd except for the pspbtcnf_game_dh.txt

(where xxx is a firmware folder)
with an unix compatible text editor
and search devhook.prx and check if you have umdciso.prx and usbhostfs.prx
put ms0:/dh/kd/cwcheat.prx after all these if present

ok look u put the prx file in the 05--->kd folder
lets say you have 3.02 installed you go in there then F0--->kd replace the
pspbtcnf_game_dh that u get

xxx mean w/e firmware u have installed like in math x is a varible it changes. get it.

xxx could be 2.71 2.81 2.82 3.00 3.01 3.02 ether one of those folders that u have installed
