help please, cwcheat will not load, games always freeze

hi, im quite new to cwcheat and i cant seem to get it working properly. i have installed it, enabled it and it works with dragonballz shin budokai. it fails to load with gta vcs and just freezes and turns off, same with tomb raider legends and tony hawks underground remix.
any help at all would be very very greatly appreciated. oh i am running 3.03 OE-B and cwcheat 0.16 rev G
