salve avevo intenzione di comprare un hd 300 gb da montare sulla mia xbox ma ho sentito che ci sarebbero problemi di surriscaldamento e potrebbe fondersi, ci son davvero problemi o posso tranquillamente metterlo?

Volendo puoi montare un Hdd fino a 3TB con i nuovi bios

Il surriscaldamento ci potrebbe anke essere, Un'Hdd da 300 GB macina bene (sopratutto se Maxtor) cmq lo puoi montare tranquillamente aggiungendo un paio di ventoline da 5cm sotto all'Hdd.

Poi, per montare un'Hdd così grande devi per forza aggiornare il bios dellla tua mod chip, in quanto adesso non vene Hdd superiori a 137GB.

grazie titty per la risposta il tuo installer lo ho gia usato con successo con un hd da 80 e farò così anke per il 300, molto utile davvero
cmnq per le ventole nn sono un esperto per montare e saldare fili, cmnq potrebbe bastare far andare la ventola della xbox sempre a 60 %?

E' semplicissimo vedrai, sul supporto dell'Hdd in plastica ci stanno due finestre, lì ci metti le ventole (basta allargare un pò i buchi) in modo che buttino aria verso l'Hdd.

cmnq per i buchi si li avevo visto un ottimo posto per mettere gli hd grazie ma per collegarci l'alimentazione alle ventole da dove posso far partire i cavi?
