Oggi rilascio per la prima volta in publico PS2SHELL dopo 3 mesi di sviluppo. Questo programma permette di gestire in un modo più approfondito la ps2 rispetto alle classiche interfaccie grafiche tramite l'uso della tastiera e della linea di comando, e tutto questo in 33kb (82kb decompressi) per l'uso della tastiera è necessario avere un file USBD.IRX compatibile, pur senza una tastiera però è comunque possibile caricare allo startup uno script che comanderà ps2shell (è possibile pure caricarli con la tastiera a mano): quindi potrebbe essere utile anche per cd autoinstallanti.

Today I release for the first time in the public PS2SHELL after 3 months of development.
This program permit to use in a more deep way your ps2 by comanding it directly trought a normal usb keyboard like any shell program (for example bash or dos) all this in just 33kb (for keyboard support is needed a working USBD.IRX) but if you can't use the keyboard (or you just want some automation) you can use script, at load time it will execute a predefined script and you can still load a script of your choice. This is usefull for auto installing disc.

i see on the screen

and thats all it freezes

the script should be ok, so maybe there is a bug with the cdrom.
you could try loading it trought ps2link i mean load ps2link into the ps2, put the ps2shell cd you made and then execute with ps2client: ps2client execee cdrom0:\PS2SHELL.ELF;1 and copy here the debug info thanks

scusate ma per accedere alle periferiche o bisogno di caricare dei driver?

no perche ho provato a accedere a hdd cdrom e mass e mi da un'errore..

e se si quali driver dovrei caricare..

Comunque di driver penso serva solo il solito USBD.IXR per l'usb, ma per l'HD non saprei perchè ti dà l'errore...

l'hd non è supportato l'ho gia detto, filexio ha dimostrato problemi con la mass, non so se ora l'hanno sistemato.
per il cdrom è strano, sicuro di mettere la stringa corretta?
per il resto si caricano i moduli necessari, per esempio per la chiavetta bisogna caricare usb_mass.irx, l'usbd dovrebbe essere gia carico se puoi usare la tastiera
